BETC: The Thin Place
Hilda befriends Linda, an eccentric but persuasive medium to transport her to “the thin place,” the fragile boundary between the living and the dead.

BETC: The Thin Place
Can we communicate with the dead if we try hard enough?
Hilda thinks she can, and she’s befriended Linda, an eccentric but persuasive medium to transport her to “the thin place,” the fragile boundary between the living and the dead.
Is Linda a con artist preying on the grief and suffering of the living, or is she bestowing the gift of believing upon her willing subjects? Lucas Hnath’s play will transform the theater into an intimate seance, putting all of us who meet there into a very spooky state of mind.
A New York Times Critics’ Pick, The Thin Place won rave reviews when it was first produced in 2019.

MAS Presents: Mr. Sun Plays Ellington's Nutcracker
The four musical personalities of Mr Sun are so strong that one might imagine the group could burst at the seams if not for the palpable love and humor that emanate from every note they play together. For this special performance, Mr. Sun reimagines Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn’s legendary jazz adaptation of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite — one of the most beloved works in Western music. Their reinterpretation pays tribute to Ellington’s sly, sophisticated vision while channeling it through the adventurous spirit of the modern string band.

Join Rachael K Sharp in partnership with Theatre Artibus, and The Savoy Denver this summer exploring a range of Theatre of the Oppressed (TO) modalities, including games, image, newspaper and forum theatre, and Rainbow of Desire.
All of these forms are rooted in the practice of dialogue, storytelling and improvisation. Rachael’s approach also incorporates Somatic Abolition and applied theatre modalities, staying responsive to the people, place, and power dynamics at play. As TO founder Augusto Boal said,
“Theatre is a form of knowledge; it should and can also be a means of transforming society. Theatre can help us build our future...”

BETC: Cry It Out
Jessie is a frazzled corporate lawyer in a cutthroat Manhattan firm. Lina dropped out of her community college and has a life circumscribed by her working class roots on Long Island.
The two newly minted moms share one thing in common — they are both feeling isolated and trapped at home with their new babies.
In the yard between their houses — as far as their baby monitors will reach — they bond over sleep deprivation, unreliable childcare and “having it all.”
Cry It Out is a smart and candid comedy about parenthood and class in America today — and the hard choices all mothers make.

A NOTE FROM THE CAPTAIN ABOUT TICKET PRICING
Captain Zeb’s Adventure is back! This joyful daytime experience is created right here in Colorado by local artists, and every ticket helps support the performers, designers, and spaces that bring the show to life.
We know that families and community members have different budgets, and we want everyone to be able to come aboard. That’s why we use a sliding scale ticket model — so you can choose the price that fits your budget.
Every ticket, no matter the price, includes the same full experience. If you’re able to pay at a higher level, you’re helping make it possible for someone else to attend who might need a lower tier. It’s one small way we can take care of each other while enjoying something magical together.
We can’t wait to welcome you to the adventure!

IMMERSIVE HAPPY HOUR
Immersive Denver meetup!
Located in Denver's vibrant Curtis Park alongside adjacent to the RiNo Arts District, The Savoy is a beautifully restored historic venue that perfectly blends vintage charm with modern amenities.
