Laura Villanueva
Event Production & Media Director
A Texas native who moved to Denver in 2013, Laura turns curiosity into creativity. She founded LNV Photography, specializing in food, cocktails, weddings, and creative portraits. She’s also the creator of Laura Makes a Cocktail, which grew from at-home recipes into two self-published books, Relish: A Haunting Delight, and Holiday Soirée, and collaborations with King St. Vodka, Mr Black, Cointreau, Absolut, and La Marca.-
Laura studied cinematography in 2007, a natural extension of her lifelong love of film and old Hollywood. Among her favorite performers are Barbara Stanwyck and Bette Midler.
Beyond the camera and cocktail shaker, Laura is a certified energy and crystal healer, psychic intuitive, and tarot reader. She’s also trained in a range of dance styles, including lyrical, hip-hop, jazz, modern, tap, and ballet.
At The Savoy Denver, Laura brings her creative and strategic talents together as Event Production & Media Director, overseeing venue sales and bookings, event production, visual design, brand development, and social media management.
Laura can often be found planning family themed parties, getting lost in historical rabbit holes, or curled up with a mystery book.
Her cocktail of choice is a perfectly stirred Boulevardier. Her soundtrack wanders from the soul of Otis Redding to the unmistakable genius of Michael Jackson. She’s just as likely to be caught up watching a hockey or basketball game.
At heart, Laura is fascinated by the art of storytelling and making people feel.
