Jim Broyles: Davey, Do You See the Light?

Davey, Do You See The Light

An innovative and unusual folk musical based on the true story of three Pennsylvania coal miners trapped far below ground in August 1963, and the unlikely events that led to one of the twentieth century’s most fascinating mining disasters. Presented in the manner of a radio play when families would gather around their RCA Victor set and take delight in the amazing tales.

Written by Denver songwriter Jim Broyles with fellow performers Chris and Steef Sealy, Luke Halpin and Chadzilla Johnson.
